Discover Turkey in 7 Days: A Comprehensive Itinerary Guide

Recently, I went on a trip to Turkey with my family. There were four people, me, my wife, my brother and his wife. All thanks to Thrillophilia, our trip to Turkey was really fun and memorable. We had booked the ‘Exclusive Turkey’ package for 7 days and 6 nights which included hotels, breakfasts, local transfers, tours and guides.

One of my cousin had heard about Thrillophilia from one of his colleagues who had been to Dubai for his honeymoon. My cousin came home and asked me to check out Thrillophilia’s website. Not gonna lie, the website is really impressive where I saw some of the best packages for Turkey. We started shortlisting our favourite packages out of which our wives selected “the one”. We also read some really great Thrillophilia reviews of Turkey trips where other travellers had mentioned their experiences.

We dropped an enquiry and quickly got connected to the company’s agent. After explaining the itinerary he took all our details and booked the package for us. Booking this package from Thrillophilia really saved our lot of money, time and effort.

About our Turkey Trip

Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

We arrived at Istanbul Airport in the morning. Being completely mesmerised by the city, we continued our journey towards our hotel. After check-in, we quickly freshened up and had our lunch at the hotel.

In the evening, we got transferred to the port for our Bosphorus Cruise ride, about which I had read a lot of positive comments in the Thrillophilia Turkey trip reviews. The cruise passed through some of the most popular landmarks of the city such as Bosphorus Bridge, Dolmabahce Palace, Rumeli Fortress and Galata Tower. On board, we also enjoyed a delicious 4-course meal along with live belly dancing. The dj even played some soft tunes and we did a romantic couple dance.

Day 2: Istanbul’s Rich History & City Tour

The next day included a complete city tour of Istanbul. We explored a lot of places like Hagia Sophia Mosque, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Dolmabahce Palace. At night, we went to a popular bar named, A’YA Rooftop Lounge where we enjoyed some drinks and had our dinner.

Day 3: Cappadocia’s Hot Air Balloon Ride

On the third day, we took a flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, our driver dropped us off at our hotel. We only had limited time to just drop off our luggage in our rooms after which we went out for a refreshing hike in the famous Red Valley. It was 2 hours of pure bliss during which we got to see some of the best views of Cappadocia. We also explored the scenic Cavusin Village where we enjoyed a fun hot balloon ride, the most recommended activity in Turkey trip reviews.

Day 4: Cappadocia City Tour

Day 4 of our itinerary included a city tour of Cappadocia. We started the tour by visiting Devrent Valley which is famous for its stunning rock formations. Some other places we visited were Avanos, Goreme Open-Air Museum and Kaymakli Underground City. After a wholesome day, we visited a restaurant to try some Turkish recipes like Manti, Kumpir, Menemen and Lahmacun.

Day 5: Exploring Antalya Museum

On day 5, we got transferred to the airport for our flight to Antalya. On arriving in Antalya, we met our driver who transferred us to our hotel. Our entire day was at leisure so we decided to explore on our own. That day we went to places like Antalya Museum and Kaleici.

Day 6: Antalya City Tour, Attraction & Beautiful Sunset

Day 6 included a complete city tour of Antalya. We also covered places like Hadrian’s Arch, Hidirlik Tower, Konyaalti Beach, Antalya Aquarium. We kept the best attraction for last, the gorgeous Duden Waterfall. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset from there and spent a peaceful time together.

The next day we had our breakfast and then checked-out from our hotel. Our driver picked us up from the hotel and dropped us off at the airport for our flight.

Journey’s End: Embracing the Memories

I am out of words for this amazing experience in Turkey. This trip was truly worth every penny that we paid for. I thank Thrillophilia for their amazing services and kudos to their team for creating such great packages for the customers. I am writing this review of Turkey tour with Thrillophilia in the hope that it would guide other travellers.
