Amidst the sun-drenched sands, Kanak is a paradise located in the heart of the desert in Jaisalmer. Away from the hustle-bustle of the city life, Kanak Jaisalmer provides the ultimate tranquility and serenity with a luxurious experience. Representatives from Kanak Jaisalmer picked me and my friends from the railway station and escorted us to the dreamland in the middle of the desert. We were stunned by this amazing amalgamation of luxury and tradition mixed with the camping experience so seamlessly and beautifully. There were three tents- Jaipur Tent, Jaisalmer Tent, and Jodhpur Tent which have been created to match the colour palette of the city they have been named after. Preserving the culture of the city, these tents offer a rejuvenating escapade.
Day 1:
The day started with the City Tour wherein we explored Jaisalmer Fort and enjoyed other desert safari tours. Later this, we got to experience the raw Rajasthan as we went on a Desert Safari at sand dunes in the evening. The mirage formed during the safari mesmerised our eyes and soothed our senses. Words will not be able to do justice with the view and fun we had during the Desert Safari.

Later in the evening, we savoured drinks and snacks in the desert including the exclusive sundowner. During the sunset, the experience was like completely surrendering to the serenity of the place. The day ended with the sumptuous dinner and the folk dance performance by the Kanak Jaisalmer team giving life to the Rajasthani tradition.

Day 2:
The second day at Kanak Jaisalmer started with the Jeep Safari on the golden sands of the unending desert. We had a thrilling experience as the desert winds touched us and we got caught by the soothing and pacifying climate of the place. The safari filled us with the new experiences to cherish forever as we explored the desert soaked in the smell of the Rajasthan!

We had a delectable lunch in the true Rajasthani style that enhanced our experience.
This trip was indeed an extraordinary one, different from a usual visit to Jaisalmer, as we experienced the five-star yet pure Rajasthani tradition amidst the golden city of Jaisalmer.
