The Rosewood Retreat Bhimtal is located at a height overlooking the breathtaking view of the Bhimtal Lake hence offering the panoramic view of the entire town. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Retreat is located on a hilltop which makes it even more worth staying.
Modern Amenities and Facilities
We had prior online bookings so the process was smooth and hassle free. It had ample parking space for customers bringing their own car. The Retreat has well decorated suite rooms from which one can have undisrupted view of the serene lake, which is just a short walk from the property.
Rooms are spacious enough with the required amenities which can easily accommodate a family of four. The suite rooms also offer a fully-equipped kitchenette giving you the flexibility to prepare your own meals from the comfort of your apartment. Every room has a private balcony which offers a spectacular view of the lake and lush green landscape around.

Delicious Food
Breakfast is complimentary. We were served parathas with curd. There was also poha, sandwiches and juices in the restaurant. One can also enjoy the scrumptious Kumaoni delicacies. After a hearty meal, a stroll from the Retreat to the lake is a must!
Tranquil Experience
The property has a Dining Area, Residents’ Lounge and Private Deck. Proper hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained by courteous staff who knows very well how to make their customers comfortable. The social distancing with masks is also followed by staff. An evening bonfire experience can also be arranged under the starry night with some yummy snacks and drinks. The staff truly ensures that the stay is luxurious as well as memorable.
Nearby Attractions
In the lap of Mother Nature, it is a superb gateway from our monotonous robotic life. One can take help from the concierge to plan their visit to nearby attractions like Naukuchiatal Lake, Zoo and Hanuman Garhi. They do arrange paid car services for sightseeing.
How to Reach
Rosewood Retreat Bhimtal is 58kms from Pantnagar airport. From Kathgodam railway station it takes approximately 40-45 mins to drive up to the hotel.
My recommendation would be to surely visit this wonderful property and stay there at least once because I am sure you would want to come back again and again! If available try to book the top floor rooms for the mesmerizing view.
